2-2. Joint research with University of Tsukuba and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (February 2022)

This study investigated the effects of NMN intake in 108 elderly subjects. Continuous intake of NMN once a day (250 mg) for 12 weeks was shown to improve physical function and fatigue, with no serious side effects or adverse effects.

2-3. Research at the University of Tokyo Hospital (May 2022)

This study investigated the effects of oral NMN on the aging process in 42 healthy men over the age of 65. After administering 250 mg of NMN per day to elderly men for 12 weeks, the results showed safety and an increase in NAD+.

2-4. STUDY OF NMN MANUFACTURER IN SHANGHAI (MAY 2022)

This is a clinical trial of NMN conducted on 66 healthy men and women between the ages of 40 and 65. The study confirmed the safety of continuous intake of 300 mg of NMN, as well as the effects of increased NAD+, improved walking ability, and increased well-being.

3. IS THERE A CANCER RISK INDICATED FOR NMN? 

VARIOUS STUDIES HAVE SHOWN NMN TO BE SAFE, BUT SOME ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE RISK OF CANCER.

THE REASON WHY THERE IS CONCERN ABOUT THE RISK OF CANCER WHEN NMN IS INGESTED IS THAT THERE IS MIXED INFORMATION ABOUT CANCER AND NAD+, INCLUDING THE FACT THAT MANY ENZYMES THAT SYNTHESIZE NAD+ ARE FOUND IN CANCER CELLS.

HOWEVER, THERE HAVE BEEN NO CONFIRMED CANCER-CAUSING EVENTS IN MOUSE EXPERIMENTS WITH NMN, AND MANY OF THE LATEST STUDIES REPORT THAT NMN DOES NOT CARRY A CANCER RISK.

IN THE CASE OF NMN, RATHER, ITS ANTI-AGING EFFECT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED WHEN TAKEN BY MAMMALS (MICE) AND HUMANS, AND MANY PAPERS HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED THAT RECOGNIZE ITS BENEFICIAL EFFECTS, ESPECIALLY IN GENERATIONS WHERE NMN IS DECLINING.

A UNIVERSITY OF TOYAMA PAPER PUBLISHED IN 2018 CONFIRMED THAT INHIBITING THE ENZYME THAT SYNTHESIZES NAD+ INHIBITS CANCER CELL GROWTH.
