Founded nearly 290 years ago, our company's starting point is traditional Japanese therapeutic medicine with its origins in Chinese herbal medicine.

Our product development process begins with the research and development of ingredients derived from natural extracts or chemical syntheses, which are then tested for safety and efficacy and transformed into products. This process can take several years. After all the problems are cleared, only a small percentage of the products are finally delivered to our customers.

Since ancient times, our philosophy has been "Jin," which means "consideration and compassion.
Jin" is especially famous in a passage from the book "Yosei-Kun"
by the Edo period scholar Kaibara Masuken, which explains its meaning as follows: "Medicine is an art of benevolence.

We, Abe Yoando Pharmaceuticals, have been in the business of Chinese medicine based on herbal medicine for 290 years.
Since I was a child, I was surrounded by the smells of various herbal medicines and medical herbs.
The aroma of these various herbs and medicinal herbs is like the aroma of spices.
It could be Chinese herbs, Japanese plum paste or suppon, or medicinal herbs from South America, the birthplace of my mother, a pharmacist, and many other things from both the West and the East.

Tomotaka Abe
Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1985.
Born to a father who is the current chairman of the board and a Brazilian mother who is a pharmacist, she studied at Tokyo Zokei University's Department of Sustainable Design. From an early age, he was exposed to health care culture, including Chinese medicine and South American medical herbs, and has been involved in the family business of wholesaling health foods and ingredients since his teenage years. He has traveled to North America, South America, East Asia, the Middle East, and Europe in search of the highest quality raw materials, and has developed a business network with producers and trading companies on all five continents. He is passionate about providing uncompromising products to his clients. His favorite saying is "Sanpo-yoshi".

Born in Tokyo, 1955.
Certified Public Accountant. Director of Sanpo-yoshi Management Strategy Institute Co. After graduating from the School of Commerce at Waseda University, he joined a major auditing firm. He has been involved in due diligence, mergers and acquisitions for former state-run companies, major securities firms, and major venture capital firms. He has extensive experience in public listing guidance, stock price appraisals, and corporate restructuring. Currently, he is breaking new ground in "Evolutionary Strategy Theory," which integrates various management strategy theories based on "Sanpo-Zen-no-Management," and lectures throughout Japan on what is truly necessary in management practice. While lecturing on "Evolutionary Strategy Theory" at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mitsubishi Research Institute, as well as in China, Russia, and other countries around the world at the request of their governments, he also publishes the main points of his lectures on his website.

Born in Tokyo, 1975.
Majored in industrial design at Chiba University Graduate School. After completing his master's degree, he joined an advertising production company. As an art director, he was involved in product design and sales promotion planning and production for major agencies and manufacturers.
He then joined a major discount store "Don Quijote" and for 17 years, as a system management director of the company and president of an IT marketing subsidiary, he was in charge of large-scale system construction and DX projects, including core systems, network infrastructure, cash registers, customer applications, EC systems, and systems for overseas offices. He is currently President of Haruniko Co.
Currently, as president of Haruniko Inc., he provides strategic consulting for corporate branding, creative/UX, systems, and DX.

Born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1948.
Former Vice Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare. Former Special Assistant to the Secretary General of the Liberal Democratic Party. He has been a member of the Diet for 30 years. Currently serving as a special advisor to the LDP Special Committee on Foreign Workers, promoting "social security that leads to peace of mind" as an expert on social security. He is active in promoting the ideal of an all-participating society where everyone can play an active role in their own way, whether they are men or women, the elderly or the young, and those with disabilities or intractable diseases.

Born in Nara Prefecture in 1942.
After working for Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation (now NTT), he co-founded DDI (Daini-Denden, now KDDI) with Kazuo Inamori. He then became a professor at Keio University and founded eAccess, Inc. and subsequently eMobile (now Y! Mobile), serving as president and chairman of both companies before retiring as chairman emeritus of the board of directors of both companies. In April of the same year, he became an outside director of Renova Corporation, and in August 2015, he became Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Organic propolis is the highest grade of plant-derived propolis. In order to be the first in the world to start selling organic propolis in 2002, we started with the environmental improvement of organic apiaries in Brazil. Since high-quality medicinal herbs are the source of high-quality propolis, we cooperate with the apiary's medicinal herb planting activities.
Puppies and kittens sold at pet stores are often separated from their mothers at a very young age, so they do not receive enough love and affection, and often grow up sickly and weak because they do not have the immune system provided by their mother's milk. On the other hand, pets abandoned by humans at local shelters are often killed. For this reason, we provide a monthly allowance to employees who foster pets from shelters to help reduce the sale of pets.
